I spend almost three years studying HapKiDo in Daegu, South Korea with a great Grand Master at a great school. I developed a family-like bond with my fellow Korean Martial Artists and was so blessed to be able to live and study there. Thank you KwanJangNim for everything you taught me.

Children of service members have a great opportunity to learn about foreign cultures as they grow up. But they also have to learn their a-b-c’s and one-two-threes. Army Sergeant Kelly Wiebe tells us about a school that proved it can give students a great education.
Rock Band is much more than just an after school activity. Mr. Hutchings and the kids are talented musicians that perform at DIS and all over Daegu city. They play multiple genres and styles of music. The whole school enjoys and supports these students and we love to see them play live. This is a news segment about the DIS Rock Band and their goals for the 2014-2015 school year. Daniel and Soohyun in MMJ put together this excellent film. Enjoy!
At Far East 😊
This video was filmed and edited all on a phone, so please excuse the bad quality. This is the first time I have created a video and can definitely say that it was fun! Drill Far East is a competition held in Japan where all Dodea Pacific JROTC schools compete in Drill.
Way to go DAS!!!!
